Mustalid Rescue was established by Andrew Gray, a Professional Zoologist with a passion for animal conservation. He teaches Zoology and Biology at the University of Manchester and has a particular interest in amphibians and small mammals. He has studied mustelids for many years, both in the field and in captivity, and has had numerous successes raising, rehabilitating, and soft-releasing stoats and weasels to the wild.
Below is a slide show of ‘Peanut’, a weasel, when he was a young kit, and below that a clip of a young stoat rescued from a fox and successfully raised and released:
Andrew is also involved in supporting amphibian conservation, and in relation to this blogs at www.frogblogmanchester.wordpress.com
